Just one of my passion is to record music and videos together with the locals, to embrace their culture, language and diversity and to tell their stories.
A brief History!
Time Line:
Playing around (Nov 2012)
At the end of 2012, I invested in a laptop and borrowed a midi keyboard. I have not played keyboard since ages but with the right equipment it was fairly easy to record something. I had Holliday and a lots of time to try out everything. My first song was ‘move’.
Leaving for PNG (April 2013)
before we left for PNG I got a small cheap midi Keyboard and some good headphones to record some music while in the village.
First CD released (July 2013) and engineroom production was born
I recorded 3 PNG songs and together with some of my own instrumental music I was able to put a whole CD together.
Well it’s all not super professional after all,
but good enough that people are happy to listen to some PNG music.
We recorded some of the songs in the engine room of the ship,
thats where the name comes from.
I joined April 2015 the YWAM ship again.
A little dream cam true. After doing photos as a Media person on board
I started to do an outreach video at the end.
Check out here or some of them on my youtube channel
